Liturgisk teologi 2017

På hvilken måte kan liturgi være en ressurs for samfunnsliv og samfunnsdannelse? Dette er tema for årets Leitourgia. Gruppen for liturgisk teologi bestemte i fjor at vi skulle forankre våre samtaler i boken “Worship and Culture. Foreign Country or homeland” (Ed: G.V Wilkey 2014) som vi tror passer godt til konferansens hovedtema. I våre samtaler håper vi at reformasjonen og den kontekstuelle liturgiske teologien bringes i dialog med hverandre på en fruktbar måte. Vi vil også gi anledning til å utdype innspillene fra hovedforedragene hvor det skal handle om hvordan vi skal forstå forholdet mellom kirke og samfunn nå 500 år etter reformasjonen. Et sentralt spørsmål er her: Kan liturgien omforme og utfordre menneskelig identitet i samfunnet slik det ser ut i dag?
“Might liturgy be a resource in the formation and self-awareness of society?” This is the headline of Leitourgias conference this year. Our group decided last year to focus our discussions on the book “Worship and Culture. Foreign Country or homeland” (Ed: G.V Wilkey 2014) which we believe is closely related to the topic of this years conference. The impact of the reformation and the contextual liturgical theology will here have an opportunity to be related to each other in a fruitful way. We will then have the chance to deepen the discussions raised in the key notes on how the relationship between church and society is to be understood today. The question to be highlighted is: “Can liturgy shape and challenge identity in contemporary society?”
